President's Report

Dear ASHRAE Members and Guests,

It is an honor and a privilege to serve the San Diego HVAC industry as ASHRAE President for the 2018-2019 Fiscal Year!  Serving as an ASHRAE Chapter Officer has been an exceedingly rewarding experience, and I highly encourage HVAC colleagues to also get involved locally with your Chapter. In addition to learning about the latest technological advancements in our industry, I have been fortunate to volunteer with many amazingly talented, high-character professionals.

We are very privileged in San Diego to be part of a unique and storied Chapter.   San Diego’s Chapter offers an amazingly talented roster of Past Presidents and Regional Vice Chairs who stay highly involved and provide consistent support to the current Chapter leadership.  Our Nominating Committees have also been able to consistently recruit remarkable leadership within our Board of Governors and Chapter Officers.  As a result, the San Diego Chapter consistently leads our ASHRAE Region, most recently earning a Special Citation for the Presidential Award of Excellence at the 2018 Chapter Regional Conference in Fresno, CA.  I want to personally thank all the Past Presidents, and current leadership for their assistance in maintaining ASHRAE San Diego’s standard of excellence.

If you are interested in furthering your career with ASHRAE and the San Diego Chapter, please reach out to myself or any of the other Chapter Officers.  Our list of Programs for the upcoming year is included below.  All meetings take place the 2nd Tuesday of the month, 11:30 am at The Butchershop in Kearny Mesa, unless otherwise noted.

We hope to see you at our next ASHRAE event!

Sincerely,
