It is my pleasure to serve as the San Diego Chapter Research Promotion Chair for the 2025-26 campaign.  The RP team helps raise money for 6 Funds,  ASHRAE RP : ASHRAE Research Projects, the ASHRAE Foundation, The ASHRAE Learning Institute (ALI), scholarships (local & national), YEA, the Young Engineers in ASHRAE, & the General Fund, the greatest need faced by ASHRAE such as the Covid & Decarbonization efforts.  All of these funds have 1 common goal- to improve our industry and make our lives better!  Every dollar donated goes directly to the fund you choose- $1 for $1!  Our San Diego Chapter should be proud of the fact that we raised over $44K during the 2024-25 campaign! 

This year our chapter goal is $43,800 & our Region X goal is $230K.  A full list of competed ASHRAE Research Projects is available all members who are logged in: ASHRAE Technology Portal

Our main RP Fundraiser, the San Diego Holiday Party for RP Recognition, is planned for Thursday, December 11^th from 6:30-10:30 at the Union Kitchen & Tap Room in the Gas Lamp Quarter. Please let us know what sponsorship level your company would like to register for!

& our annual Golf Tournament for chapter operations & RP will be held at the end of May 2026.
